At 7:30 pm on the same day, after collecting relevant evidence and witness testimonies, the Tourist Police of Koh Phangan continued to search the area and found the suspect's motorcycle in front of a restaurant in Sri Thanu. Upon entering the restaurant, the police identified a woman who matched the description of the suspect in the surveillance footage, approached her, identified themselves, and questioned her.
During the investigation, the suspect identified herself as Sudirawa, a 23-year-old Thai national. She picked up the wallet, entered the store, and opened it, discovering cash and bank cards inside. However, she continued shopping and used the money from the wallet to pay for her purchases, eventually leaving the store with both the goods and the wallet.
